General Planning Matters

Due to the complexities of the dynamic planning system and the very diverse range of issues that the planning system covers, it is not really possible to provide a specific advisory section here relating to detailed planning questions and answers.

Rather we would request visitors to our web site to either refer to our Links Page or to contact us with their query. For example, if you wish to find out in advance what the local planning authority fee for submission of a planning application would be, then an answer to this can be found by visiting the excellent Planning Portal website. General planning information can also be found there as well as on the Communities and Local Government web pages. If you wish to find out what local planning policies apply to where you live or your business is located, then a visit to your local councils web site is recommended. If you are located in Cornwall, the Cornwall Council website is both comprehensive and very good.
